An aging Rock Artist recruits a mysterious young talent to help stage a comeback, with detrimental results.

 

Synopsis

Aging Rock Artist DAVID TANGIERS (38) never quite made it big, and now supports himself and his wife as a Hairdresser. He still dreams of Rock Stardom, but his wife CECILY and Manager SIDNEY are losing faith in his rapidly dwindling potential.

 

As a last shot at fame and fortune, David sets out to produce a follow up album to his debut that he never had the chance to make. Though he is full of  passion and drive, his music is dated and out of fashion. When a talented young musician JAVY BATES shows up for a job at David's salon, this Rocker thinks he has found the perfect collaborator.  Javy is invited home for dinner.

 

Against the symbolic backdrop of an alienated victorian home, Cecily tries to convince Javy to team with her husband on this Rock n Roll road to redemption. Initially guarded, Javy soon opens up, as he has an agenda of his own... Watch Dead Envy here.
